What we are glad to hear about
- Corrections. If we have got something wrong, tell us. Cold-climate growing advice is only worth anything if it is accurate, and we would much rather be corrected than be confidently wrong in public. We fix errors and we do not quietly bury them.
- Questions about your own site or zone. We cannot design your garden for you, but if something in a guide does not make sense for your conditions, ask.
- Topics you want covered. If you searched for something and could not find a straight answer anywhere, that is exactly what we want to write next.
- Nurseries, seed houses, and tool makers serving cold-climate growers — especially Canadian ones. If you grow or make something genuinely suited to zones 2–6, we would like to know about it.
- Partnerships, collaborations, and press.

We read everything that comes in and aim to reply within a few business days. Earthkeep is a small operation, so please be patient with us during busy stretches — spring especially.
A note on advice
We are always happy to point you toward the right resource, but we cannot offer individual garden design, diagnose a sick tree from a description, or guarantee results on your particular site. Conditions vary enormously between properties — sometimes between one end of a yard and the other. For site-specific questions, your local master gardener program, provincial extension service, or a nursery growing in your climate will always beat us on local knowledge.
